Heaven is Beautiful : How Dying Taught Me That Death Is Just a Beginning was written by Peter Baldwin Panagore. His story is an account of his near death experience while hiking in Alberta Canada when he was 21 years old. He was ice climbing the Lower Weeping Wall on Cirrus Mountain, Banff National Park. Several climbing mistakes resulted in Peter and his partner being stranded on the ice wall over night and experiencing hypothermia. Peter was well versed in the stages of hypothermia and was aware of his increasing confusion, clumsiness and sleepiness as the hypothermia increased. Peter struggled to stay awake but he was unable to and he slipped into death. He died on the side of the mountain and experienced forgiveness, unconditional love and bliss.

Between May 17 and 31, 2025, a series of powerful astrological events signal shifts in both personal and collective energies, driven by major planetary alignments including Uranus conjunct the Sun and a harmonious Mars-Venus trine, prompting clarity, courage, and decisive action. The New Moon in Gemini on May 26 encourages communication, curiosity, and meaningful connections, while a rare Saturn-Neptune conjunction begins a years-long process of dissolving outdated societal structures and reshaping worldviews. Sign changes of Saturn, Mercury, and Venus further enhance mental stimulation, emotional healing, and personal development, especially around long-standing inner wounds. The astrology forecast for May 1–16 highlights powerful energetic shifts, beginning with Beltane on May 1—a sacred time of manifestation that connects spirit to form, supported by fertile seasonal energy and Sirius' cosmic influence. Two long-lasting aspects—Uranus sextile the Moon’s North Node and a Jupiter T-square with the Moon’s Nodes—indicate opportunities for soul growth, breakthrough changes, and mental clarity if we embrace needed transitions. Pluto’s retrograde in Aquarius from May 4 encourages inner transformation and a reevaluation of societal power structures, while Mercury’s transit through Taurus starting May 10 grounds mental activity in practical, financial, and Earth-based concerns. The Scorpio Full Moon on May 12 activates multiple rare formations (T-squares, a Kite, a Bucket, and a Mystic Rectangle), amplifying feminine energy, inner power, and self-understanding, followed by Ceres’ move into Aries on May 16, signaling a call to self-nurture with bold independence.
