ISD Sacred Council Message:
|
"You all may be sick of hearing this, but you have entered a time in evolution where things really can be effortless and easier. Where you can ride a wave of fruitful possibilities to abundance and to your hopes and your dreams with great help, and with much more love and light to carry you than ever before. To stay on top of this wave, the only thing that is required is a commitment to loving all parts of yourself. The broken bits, the negative emotions, the grudges, the wounds. Let go of the negativity towards self and others. All humans suffer what you see as flaws and setbacks but if you can keep them immersed in your light, and out of the shadows you may stay whole. Keeping yourself forgiving of them can allow us to carry them for you as they are weaved into the beautiful fabric of your whole life story. "

Featured ISD Artist Christine Selleck On Display and for sale in the Gallery until @October 1st
|
Christene Selleck first had an awakening in December of 2022. An unexpected ability to view spirits and entities in mirrored reflections and photographs began to appear daily. These visitations were coupled with mediumship abilities that had made appearances throughout her life without explanation. In time, she discovered ISD. Through classes and research explanations, deeper connections were developed and have led to a better understanding and connection to her own spiritual connections raised to heights that have been life-affirming and changing.
Always eager to share information, images, and artwork. Christene is excited to share her work and gifts. Her work in this show is shared through multiple mediums. Photographs of spirit imagery are shown through the ancient practice of scribing and large-scale prints of multiple spiritual iconic imagery and symbols. These are communicated through nontraditional materials and assemblage techniques.
Christene works in the field of art and design and is a Professor of Higher Education in NYC. Selleck is the founder of Art on the Street, a revolving collective of artists working in an array of media. Art on the Street was a pioneer in trendy Soho when she began in 1990. Born across the street from Leo Castelli and next to Mary Boone, Art on the Street was conceived as a program to bring fine art into the retail exhibition environment, and in so doing, allow emerging artists to be seen by the masses. Since its inception Art on the Street has now developed exhibition opportunities in multiple environments ranging from galleries, public art forums as well as public large-scale interactive installations. Art on the Street has showcased dozens of painters, sculptors, and illustrators. Selleck continues to coordinate Art on the Street and has recently installed several public large-scale interactive art projects reaching 75,000 viewers at a time.
Contact Story Ducey if you are interested in purchasing Christene's work.

Deepen your spiritual journey through studying and nurturing your innate clairvoyant and clairaudient inner senses of telepathy. Each morning class is comprised of three parts: an in-depth discussion of an aspect of telepathy, then a demonstration of an intuitive exercise, and the time to practice these exercises for yourselves as sitter or reader or both.
Partake in group discussion, meditations and creative imagination exercises. Sharpen your inner hearing and inner vision. Strengthen your more refined senses of inner feeling and immediate knowing. Practice being a sitter or a reader. Learn how to take notes. Or draw a picture of the spirit message. Learn how to establish the purpose of contact and bring forth an accurate message from Spirit communication.
These inner or psychic senses are so natural and innate we unconsciously use them everyday. Why not learn to use them consciously~~with intention!Join our fun experiential Friday morning Mediumship Summer School classes. Explore ‘everything you wanted to know about Mediumship; but were afraid to ask…’ in a fun and supportive way with others. Take turns being a sitter or a reader.

Wonderful Time had at College Camp!
|
On a beautiful sunny warm Sunday, about 35 of us gathered at the SUNY College Camp for a very special spiritual service in the Lodge. We welcomed in a Divine Presence to the sound of Ken Langlieb's singing bowls. Rev. Diana emceed the service, while Ken and Meghan Stoner led us in song and Kimberly Winsor delivered a thoughtful homily about creating miracles in our lives. You can view it at this link. . .
We had a delicious potluck, sang around the campfire, roasted marshmallows, consulted spirit through readers and healers, drummed a bit and socialized a lot!
Kudos to all who organized, set up and offered free readings and healings for our very special picnic and hootennany- in addition to those named above- thanks to Raquel Peterson, Connie Lull, Doug Lull, Christene Selleck, Sue Owens, Melissa Stagnaro, Karin Murphy, Story Ducey, JoAnn Wormuth, Carol Callahan, Ally Sutton-Pyle and Kimberly Winsor- and to all who brought delicious food!

We all share concern about what is happening in the world today. Please join Jaya Buckland, a Zen and meditation Teacher, as well as Reiki Master, as we explore ways to center ourselves in this time of challenge and change . We will take a look at reactive patterns, cycles of life, Karma and conviction as we embrace transformation.
This is not a class for political discussion. But a class for self-reflection and transformation.

"SINGING BOWLS: MAGIC or MEDICINE?" How Tibetan Singing Bowls are used for healing and relaxation Indigenous Australians used Sound therapy 40,000 years ago. The ancient Egyptians perfected it. Every cell and organ vibrates. The whole universe vibrates! Come join Ken Langlieb, Psychologist, Musician/ Composer, and massage therapist, for an exciting journey discovering the healing powers of vibration. Be amazed how this natural alternative therapy works. Now Medical science has scientifically demonstrated the Bowl's benefit in treating; stress, anxiety, PTSD, depression, blood pressure, blood circulation, cholesterol, enhances breathing and accelerates healing. Relaxation activates the Vagus nerve which turns on the parasympathetic nervous system AKA THE relaxation response. Next smooth muscle tissues dilate blood vessels, reduces muscle tension, reduces fatigue, improves vital organ function, clears the mind and opens the heart. Think "Anything that stress makes worse....relaxation makes better."
