"Rosh Hashana, a time for personal reflection"

Join us in the very special observance of the Jewish New Year, with a ritual officiated by Rev. Diana Friedell.  The blast from the shofar, played by Ken Langlieb, marks the opening of the Book of Life, and will call us to review our actions from the past year, grieve and honor those we’ve lost, and seek to heal fractured relationships. A very powerful time, to seek atonement, before the book of life closes once again on Yom Kippur.

There's a beauty in the simple truth of things and we welcome you to embrace that now. There's no benefit in remaining in old, outdated situations any longer. It's time to shake off the old and welcome the new. Accepting the grace of solution and resolution can free us from our suffering. Retreat to the simple beauty of your heart, of purity and truthfulness and look at where you may be crossing yourself or what you may be doing to make yourself a problem.

You have come here to learn, the path is not perfect or always fun but if you open yourselves to full release and purity of being, forgiveness can you bring luck and the way out.

There will be a memorial Service at ISD Oneonta, 297 River St. Service Rd, Oneonta for our dear friend, leader, teacher and ISD Minister for 5 years.
There will be a formal portion, facilitated by ISD Ministers. as well as informal sharing of memories of Renee as part of the ceremony.

What is the Institute for Spiritual Development?
