The planets are starting to spread out now. This changes the dynamics. We will have ongoing opportunities to apply the wisdom received and remembered to broader areas of life.

Not only were we under the influence of the concentrated bucket arrangement, but we had an Eclipse season with a Total Solar Eclipse in April. We have had extraordinary Aurora Borealis, a parade of planets, and high solar flare activities as well. SPRING WAS INTENSE THIS YEAR! I sincerely hope that it was a season of breakthrough and wisdom for you.

This year has an added benefit of a stellium in Gemini consisting of the SUN, MERCURY, VENUS, JUPITER, and the MOON joining the mix for a few days on June 5-7th. A 4 and a 5 way stellium is significant in any case. This one contains 2 personal planets, Mercury and Venus, and the two luckiest planets, Venus and Jupiter. Your potential for growth and even a breakthrough is enhanced. Communication is favored, meaning negotiations may find more success at this time.

The Hawthorn tree is thought to be associated with the Faerie realm and may be included in your thoughts if not physically available.

The cross quarter points emphasize the 8, smoothly flowing from one transition to another in the shape of the infinity loop. The 8 also invokes, “as above, so below.” All is ultimately connected. The year is an 8 year, adding more power than usual to these concepts.

The month of May looks very positive with many ways to express more of our soul attributes, bringing us closer to heaven on Earth. It allows opportunities to build on the incites gained during the recent eclipse season. This is not to say that unrest and conflict do not exist, but that as more of us find, and live, a sacred balance within our own lives, we will see it reflected in our outer world.

A magical weekend was had by all at the 18th annual SHIFT New York Holistic & Psychic Fair last weekend, April 27th and 28th! By all accounting it was a huge success!

We start a fresh trip around the zodiac each year on the Spring Equinox. Aries is highly energetic and youthful. Ideas and vigor are refreshed. It is an individual type of energy, a yearly boost for your own creations where you can explore and express your own unique signature. This year, 2024, has many transits to support you. We have discussed Pluto quite a bit already. There is another transit of great power and interest this Spring. JUPITER has moved into conjunction with URANUS.

MERCURY is very happy in Aries. Keen intellect finds youthful fire. It is a potent combination that bodes well for new creation. Perhaps you've had a dream rattling around in the attic waiting for just the right boost to help it flower. MERCURY will be in Pisces when both the Lunar Eclipse on 3/25, and the Ring of Fire Solar Eclipse on 4/08 come around. Think of the possibilities. This transit is particularly long since the year's first Mercury retrograde happens while it is in Pisces.

This next 4 weeks will be a good time to give attention to, and/or initiate any dreams you have been meaning to create. The more mystical and esoteric they seem the more the energies will support you. Saturn is present to bring order and structure to things that seem out of the ordinary. Soon to follow are 2 Eclipses in March and April while the Sun and Moon are in Aries, the renewal of another cycle. Now is the time to feel and receive from a fuller realm of possibility. The Solar flares are peaking in 2024.

The study of several texts, as well as oral indigenous traditions, mentions a connection between the photon belt, Pleiadian star Alcyone, and the Mayan Long Count calendar.

Science calls this photon belt the “Rings of Alcyone.” This is the observation that our Solar System revolves around the central sun of the Pleiadian constellation, the star Alcyone. This procession takes approximately 26,000 years and we pass through the belt every 13,000 years. This is also found in the form of the Mayan Long Count. (There are discrepancies in the length of years, but not in the “Rings of Alcyone's” existence.)

Some believe we crossed into the edge of the photon belt as early as 1993, all agree that we passed fully into the belt by 2012.

Next up in a month full of delights is the NEW MOON in Capricorn on 1/11. The Grand Trine that is active is now joined with the qualities of any New Moon; new beginnings, new dreams, old dreams becoming more tangible, etc. This has another powerful partner. There is a huge STELLIUM of planets/asteroids in Capricorn this entire week. It begins with the familiar planets; Sun, Moon, Mars, and Pluto. Added to this are asteroids; Psyche, Pholus, and Cupido. MERCURY is directly conjunct the Galactic Center at 27° Sagittarius on this day, bringing the most uplifting messages from Deep Space.
