ASTROLOGY FORECAST

(May 17 - 24)

5/10 - 5/25 - URANUS conjunct SUN. Events that happen while this aspect is active can seem very sudden, decisive, powerful, and often unexpected. Psychic energy is high and developments of great genius can emerge. This may bring things to center stage that have been in the wings for a while. This will likely be both in the personal and the collective realms. You may have been trying to decide some dilemma, or whether to take action in some situation. This alignment is likely to move you to action.

5/16 -6/6 - MARS Trine VENUS. This is a harmonious aspect that will be in effect for 3 weeks. The ongoing attempt to find balance between the male and female will be favored now. That can be an internal balance as well as external. It is an energy that favors an androgynous balance in all beings. It will also help some to perceive the inherent wisdom in such a balance, both in society and the individual.

5/18 - JUPITER in Gemini sextile CHIRON in Aries. Chiron holds the space for some of our deepest, long standing wounds. They are soul deep, rather than superficial. Therefore, they can be from other existences that carry over into this incarnation. Jupiter adds the bright, powerful energy needed to break free of the bonds of destructive/restrictive attitudes and patterns. Chiron's placement in Aries adds the impetus to take action where before you may have hesitated.

5/18 - JUPITER square the NORTH NODE. This can find emerging attention to conflicts of opinions and differing moral beliefs. The North Node is aspirational in nature, so this can quite often be tension between those ideas that embrace change, and the desire for the status quo. Jupiter can help us make some progress despite the tension. A contributing factor here is that Jupiter is in the zodiac sign, Gemini, that the North Node is exalted in - making them mutually connected. This adds intensity to the aspect.

5/18 - There is a KITE FORMATION this day that can be of assistance. It is made up of:

EARTH GRAND TRINE between:

*Asteroid ANGEL conjunct the Moon's South

Node in Virgo

*Moon in Capricorn

*Sun conjunct Uranus in Taurus

And a MINOR TRINE between:

*Sun conjunct Uranus in Taurus

*MOON in Capricorn at 29°

* apex planet SATURN in Pisces at 29°

All 5 of the aspect patterns featured above can help you with clarity, courage, and the will to take action in the new trip around the Zodiac. This can be the energy needed to try again when you failed before - even more beneficial if there is even a slight change in method and/or beliefs this time. Also note that the Moon and Saturn are at 29,° the Fate degree of any sign, meaning they contain all the attributes of that sign.

5/20 - SUN into Gemini. William Hewitt's “Astrology for Beginners”(1991), says this about Gemini Sun:

QUALITIES: Mutable - Air

KEY PHRASE: I THINK!

KEY WORD: Variety

VIRTUE: Alertness

DEFECT: Shallowness

RULERSHIP: Natural ruler of 3rd house. (Siblings, communications, thought processes, travel)

RULING PLANET : Mercury

EXALTED PLANET: North Node

Gemini's are great communicators. They are interested in everything! They generally like people and usually have “many irons in the fire” at once. They may not be strong in implementation however. They tend to be “idea” people.

This year's Solar transit finds Jupiter in Gemini as well. That adds great good luck to the days that the Sun occupies this sign.

5/24 - Now we come to another of this year's significant sign changes. SATURN moves into Aries until 9/1 for the first time since February 1999. The Aries Point begins another new cycle for the planet of discipline and responsibility. This placement lasts until 9/1/25 when its retrograde cycle will take it back into Pisces one last time.

SATURN in Aries tries to balance organization, responsibility, and discipline with youthful enthusiasm, aggression, and individual development. If used well, this combination can be a wonderful help with anyone's personal development. It can ensure a solid framework for growth. The caution would be to rein in the ego and any over emphasis on the self at the expense of others.

SATURN will have picked up many new dreams, ideas, and mystical tendencies during the just completed transit of Pisces. Now Aries can add a great deal of action, excitement and enthusiasm to get those things accomplished.

In conclusion, we have looked at many planets, points, and asteroids in Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries so far in 2025. Now they have shifted to mostly Aries, Taurus, and Gemini in what is a new cycle that features multiple sign changes by the outer planets in a very short time.

We are now 6 months in, and 4 planets/points have changed signs. To review:

*PLUTO into Aquarius in Nov 2024

*MOON'S NORTH NODE into Pisces in Jan

2025

*NEPTUNE into Aries in Mar 2025.

*SATURN into Aries in May 2025

There are two more to go, Jupiter in June and Uranus in July. By then the energies that we have all become accustomed to will be changed a great deal. There will be several adjustments since 4 of the 6 celestial partners will move back into the previous sign before moving fully into their new placements for long intervals.

The best we can do is to remain very flexible. Be willing to change, experiment, explore, etc. Optimism, trust, and faith will all help us a great deal.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST

(May 25 - 31)

2025 - 2027 - We have a very long aspect between SATURN and NEPTUNE. They have moved into the effective arc of CONJUNCTION this year, and will be together until 2027.

They conjunct each other approximately every 36 years. Conjunctions in each sign circle around much less often. These two planets have met in Aries only 7 times in over 2600 years. This has usually been accompanied by dissolution of prevailing patterns. This has often been seen as changes of patterns in governments, cultures, and paradigms of society. Borders and boundaries shift, thinking shifts. It has the potential to move us in a different direction over the two years they remain in the arc of conjunction, and beyond. The world view we each have and are accustomed to will likely have shifted significantly by the end of this transit.

The two planets have somewhat opposing actions. Saturn is system based, structured, methodical, whereas Neptune is idealistic, mystical, and dissolution can be its effect.

We will be living in this conjunction for a few years and it is likely to be revolutionary. We will all be prodded to examine our personal and collective dichotomies to bring some things to conclusion, and launching pads for others. The past weeks have already brought us an unexpected, unprecedented choice for the Catholic Pope. Traditional methods and structures of society are being stretched thin like taffy. The tug of war of ideologies continues and is showing no signs of settling soon. Do your best to find your center, your zero point.

5/25 - MERCURY moves into Gemini until 6/8. This is definitely one of Mercury's happy places. He is the ruling planet of Gemini . He just loves the constant stimulation that is provided to the mental processes while residing within the sign of “the twins.” You might get some very good ideas during this transit. Communications of all types are greatly favored at this time. The written and spoken word can be quite effective now.

5/25 - 6/8 - VENUS conjunct CHIRON. Chiron is referred to as the “Wounded Healer.” He represents our deepest wound, a soul level pain. Venus can bring needed soothing and nurturing to this transit. Venus can bring beauty, even to pain. She can help us reconcile shadows by helping us appreciate our attempts, even if we feel they were unsuccessful.

5/26 - NEW MOON in Gemini at 11:02 pm EST. This is an excellent opportunity to hone communication skills and to enjoy friends and family. We can improve listening, and getting to know more about those who share our lives. Gemini is an inquiring, curious sign. Use this time to seek new information and you will be rewarded. Pluto is trine the 3 way conjunction of the Sun, Moon, and Mercury today. The planets and asteroids have also formed a supportive Cradle aspect today. This shape is quite easy to see on the chart included for the New Moon. These are the characteristics of the Cradle from: evolvingdoorastrology.com

*Place of refuge

*Secure base for growth

*Nurturing environment

*Encouragement to step outside of safety net

*Means of creativity or problem solving

between the two planets in opposition

Those two are interesting and have potential. They are Pluto in Aquarius and asteroid Panacea at 29° Cancer. Pluto affects and connects entire generations and populations. Panacea is just that - a possible cure-all and/or solution to widespread puzzles of humanity. At 29° Cancer, Panacea will have the full nurturing effects of the Mother to help reach consensus between all of us, in a best case scenario.

5/31 - VENUS is directly conjunct CHIRON on this last day of May, and they are both Trine Mars. As best you can, this is a good time to examine some of your shadows with clear eyes. Be brave and forgiving. You may be surprised at the results. It may be as simple as deciding to think and feel differently about some deep wound for no other reason than that you want to feel better. Choosing to consciously leave a pattern behind by changing some core beliefs can bring about tremendous healing. Venus and Chiron can assist you. This is particularly good for relationships between male and female, whether that is two individuals or the balance of those energies within the self.

5/31 - SUN directly conjunct MERCURY in Gemini. You've heard it before- great for communications of all kinds. It is a nice alignment to end a very nice month with a lot of potential to help us through this volatile time.

May you feel at peace.
