ASTROLOGY FORECAST

(April 16, 2025)

We will cover only one day this time. Each time the days roll around to the time before a column must be submitted, I open myself to receive guidance; what to research, what to write, etc. What is going to be highlighted for 4/16 was an example of what I feel is Divine Guidance that I am excited to share. Examination of the star chart for Wednesday, April 16th revealed a fantastical formation in our Solar System. Do not be concerned that the day and formation will have passed by the time you read this. I feel its effects and HUGE benefits will continue to bless us for a very long time indeed, and will explain why further on.

4/16 - This is a phenomenal aspect formed between the planets, asteroids, and points. I've included the chart so that you can see this for yourself. There is a Hexagram, with a Grand Trine inside, blazed across our sky. The 6 pointed star can be seen connecting the planets involved. Also contained within this sacred geometry are 3 Kite formations.

The planets, points, and asteroids in these alignments are:

POINTS OF THE HEXAGRAM:

*Uranus in Taurus at 25°

*Venus, N Node, Saturn, Mercury in Pisces from

24-29° and Neptune in Aries at 0° - (5 way conjunction)

*Pluto in Aquarius at 3°

*Moon in Sagittarius at 0°, conjunct Juno in

Scorpio at 29°

*South Node conjunct asteroid Angel in Virgo from

25-26°

*Mars in Cancer at 29°

GRAND TRINE:

Astrology Chart April 2025

Look for the large triangle within the hexagram;

Moon/Juno in Sagittarius/Scorpio - trine Mars in Cancer - trine the 5 way conjunction in Aries/Pisces.

KITE FORMATIONS:

Each side of the grand triangle has another smaller triangle (minor trine) on top, completing 3 Kite formations within the hexagram.

I keep pointing out these fantastical formations and saying that they are rare and unprecedented. Then another one comes about in succession, all in a very short window of time. I feel that this is the change of astrological ages mentioned so often in astrological circles and in this column - from Pisces to Aquarius.

FULLY HALF OF THE SIX POINTS OF THE HEXAGRAM ARE AT O° OR 29°, ADDING TREMENDOUSLY TO THE POWER AND EFFICACY OF THIS FORMATION. Furthermore, only the Sun and Jupiter fall outside of this formation. Practically the entire Solar System has lined up to create a gigantic aperture from the Cosmos beyond beaming toward the Earth. The aperture will have sent an unimaginable amount of new cosmic energy into our energy fields. That is here to stay. It won't disappear. Continuing communication with our DNA and cells is inevitable, whether we have any conscious awareness of it, or not.

This will undoubtedly facilitate many changes for all of us. As often as you are able, meet them with grace and eager acceptance. Receive the flow and blessing. Appreciation of every part of your life that is wonderful is a good path to follow. May it help you find your Godspeed.

ASTROLOGY FORECAST

(April 17-30)

3/39 - 4/27 - This is a reminder that NEPTUNE will be at 0° Aries for these dates. During this time Neptune is contemplating all the Aries characteristics and how they can be best combined and utilized with Neptune's attributes. A very short description might be; new life and enthusiasm for the magical and mystical. Also bringing what has heretofore been in the realm of imagination to the physical. The next steps in your personal development are emphasized.

4/15 - 4/30 - Also a reminder that 3 major feminine energies are in a stellium in Scorpio. Asteroids JUNO and VESTA join LILITH, who is traveling Scorpio in a rapid direct/retrograde pattern through most of the degrees of Scorpio. These ladies are a force to be reckoned with, especially in passionate Scorpio. They stand with all of us to return a healthy balance to our male/female energy.

4/16 - MERCURY will leave Neptune for the last time in 2025 and transit Aries until 5/10. Our communications planet gets a boost of enthusiasm and vigor in Aries. It is the start of a new cycle with all the excitement of a new beginning. Emphasis tends to be on personal growth and oriented toward action when planets cross the Aries corridor. This can be a very useful interlude since the one area you can have sovereignty over is your mental processes. Mercury is a quick, agile, mental planet. It influences the nervous system. The traits of Aries and Mercury are compatible, but a caution is to be aware of the possibility of a somewhat “wired” feeling during this transit. The tension on the nervous system is high.

4/18 - MARS moves into Leo until 6/17. This combination is combustible! Leo is fixed, fire with a strong will power. MARS is also fire and force. The two together can work wonders if dedicated to the greatest good. The caution is that the reverse can also arise - lack of conscious concern for others. The best way to utilize this pairing is to use the energy to help you get off the fence if you are stuck. Perhaps no other combination of planet and sign can be of as much assistance for procrastination.

Another quality can be that of a catalyzing force. We all may remember science experiments in chemistry where you use a bunsen burner to separate elements. You liberate some things and have ash remaining from the component chemicals. An analogy can be made to the Mars/Leo combination. Combusting something that needs to move and change. What is left can be very useful - or - collateral damage. It can go either way. It seems obvious to conclude that we should mind our manners; watch our tempers, judgements, and controlling nature.

4/19 - The SUN moves into Taurus at 3:56 pm EST. Taurus is analyzed in “Astrology for Beginners” by William W Hewitt:

“Characterized as accumulators and builders.

QUALITIES: Fixed- Earth

KEY PHRASE: I HAVE!

KEY WORD: Possessions

VIRTUE: Reliability

DEFECT: Stubbornness

RULERSHIP: Natural ruler of the 2nd house

RULING PLANET: Venus

EXALTED PLANET: Moon

GENDER: Female”

Taurus concentrates on possessions, is steady, does not like to change, and the symbol is the Bull. The constellation Taurus stands between Orion the Hunter and The Seven Sisters of the Pleiades, protecting them. Since it is an Earth sign the possessions can sometimes be land, and farming is associated with Taurus. These are the traditional associations.

Now, if you are a long term reader you know that I advocate strongly for adding more interpretations to the signs to adjust for the rising feminine and the Aquarian Age. Some of you also may remember that I was a Dairy farmer by trade, so I have an intimate acquaintance with land and cattle.

My suggestion for all things Taurus is to think of, and utilize, the characteristics of the COW as well as the Bull.

COW is the ultimate meditator, requiring little sleep, her chewing activity serving as rest. She emits massive quantities of the love hormone, oxytocin, during the milking process. She has been called the “Foster Mother of the Human Race.” It is no coincidence that Mother's Day is celebrated in May while the SUN is in Taurus. Cows are excellent Mothers. They are content, very curious, and quite funny. They also utilize a basic form of alchemy on behalf of humanity. They consume grasses that we cannot digest and alchemize them to produce food that most of us can digest. Perhaps their best trait is a gentleness and grace that is wonderful for such a large, powerful animal. They are excellent examples of the Goddess energy. Here is another fun fact! Cattle are the second beings named specifically among all the fauna and flora in the Bible, behind only the "Great Dragons." These things can all be a wonderful addition to any Taurus transit of any planet, asteroid, or point. Do as much as you can to get out in nature during the Solar Taurus days!

4/21 - SATURN is in an exact conjunction with the Moon's NORTH NODE. This can be an opportunity for structure and responsibility to aid the native aspirations of the North Node, which are all that we hope to accomplish in this lifetime. Some goals we are conscious of, others remain latent. SATURN can be a partner here as a favorite, inspirational teacher. I encourage that personna rather than the more traditional “task master” role usually assigned to Saturn. Try to think of Saturn as your strong, encouraging friend rather than a bully.

4/27 - The NEW MOON is in Taurus at 3:31 pm EST at 7.° Go back and review everything above about Taurus and add the MOON'S energies to that. You have a still-point with any New Moon when you are most fully aware of things you would like to set into motion or develop further. Spring is also a wonderful time for that.

The planets are all lined up in 6 consecutive signs from early Aquarius to early Leo, forming a distinct bowl formation. This is characterized as thoughtful and self contained energy with an ability to learn and profit from one's experiences. In addition, within the bowl formation is another cradle aspect formation. Cradles are very supportive. The 5 way conjunction at the Pisces/Aries threshold is at the floor of this cradle, (Venus, Saturn, North Node, Mercury, Neptune) so we may be very justified in a sense that the Universe has our back.

4/30 - VENUS moves into Aries until 6/6. Venus normally functions with a bit more difficulty in Aries. His fiery, youthful enthusiasm grates with her watery, languid ease. Aries may tend to exacerbate the tendency toward jealousy and possessiveness that Venus can display at times. So what may assist the tension of this pairing? VENUS has made her trip behind the SUN and has returned as our “Morning Star.” She is rich with new energies and ideas from deep space, and is eager to beam them toward us for all who are prepared and willing to receive the riches offered. This is where and when the enthusiasm and action of Aries can be a help rather than a hindrance.

Ask yourself where your heart is leading you. The time is here to “think with our hearts and feel with our heads.” We have led with our heads for so long. Grace guides us to try another way now. May it lead us well.

I am going to end this week by sharing, and expanding upon, a response to a recent comment by a reader.

This individual expressed a wish that I include what the astrological events that I bring to your attention mean specifically for each Zodiac sign. I fully understand the desire. My answer, I hope respectfully, was that I cannot possibly do that. To begin with, it takes many hours to research and write what is submitted each time, and to fulfill that request would take more time and column space than can be committed to such an endeavor.

Additionally, Astrology can be a rather complex science and it also has a very individual artistic flair that each of us is free to introduce into our lives and experiment with. There are so many variables in each of your charts that there is no responsible way to say that any transit or aspect discussed is true in exactly the same way for everyone born under that sign. Each person has a Sun sign, Moon sign, Ascendant or Rising sign, a chart ruling sign, a weighted score for the planets in each of the 4 elements, the triplicities of signs- Cardinal, Fixed, or Mutable, notable Aspects in your natal chart, house placements, etc. The list goes on and on. In addition, there are numerous astrological systems/schools that differ from each other, and you will find many have quite avid devotion to their chosen focus of application. There are differences in the focus so that there are some discrepancies from one system to another. You must feel free to decide for yourself which feels most appropriate to you. I discuss Western/Tropical Astrology.

When writing the column each time I must create from a place of commonality - what is true for every reader? That is why I discuss with you the sign changes and aspects the planets are making to each other. This is universal to everyone and can have a somewhat common effect on large groups. Within that, if such an astrological event mirrors an alignment or placement on the day you were born, then you will likely experience the effects more keenly.

Now, this is my suggestion for what you may wish to do to personalize the information given each time. Oh no, there's homework? Yes, if you choose. It will allow you to get more from your interest in astrology. Refer to your own Natal chart and apply all of the information given to that. As you work with your own chart you will become more familiar with all of its unique traits. There are basic nuances that can be considered. For example:

RETURNS: This is when each transiting planet, asteroid, or point rotates around to the same sign and exact degree it was in your natal chart. For the inner, personal planets this is often. The outer planets return much less often, some not at all. (Returns are considered important in astrology.)

ASPECTS: These are conjunctions, trines, sextiles, oppositions, squares. Also the grand trines, minor trines, t-squares, and kites that I mention. (This is triggered more often than Returns.)

ELEMENTS: There are the 4 elements associated with and attributed to the signs; fire, earth, air, and water. (Triggered on a very regular basis.)

TRIPLICITIES: These are the cardinal, fixed, and mutable signs. (Also triggered often.)

Now, when you are considering a current transit position of any planet, point, or sign to get more personalized information you would compare all of the above things to your natal chart positions for each element. If any of the things mentioned above - returns, aspects, elements, and triplicities listed are the same as in your natal chart, then this means the transit or aspect has more powerful energy for you. A spotlight of a sort is “turned on” for you. Look, here awaits an opportunity!

Zodiac House placements are almost impossible to discuss for a large audience. They are so different for each individual and are designed for more personal application than for groups. They are very important, but individualistic in nature.

Charts can be run for locations, nations, events, etc. This, however, is a specialized study which is far beyond the scope of this column.

If you have the interest, eventually the details of your chart will be committed to memory. It will become second nature to you to know when a transit or aspect that I highlight applies to you in a more direct way. Until then it may be handy to have a print out of your natal chart handy to refer to while you are reading the column.
