ASTROLOGY FORECAST
(Mar 15 - 22)
Let us review the celestial events that are already in effect for March:
Grand Water Trine between SATURN in Pisces, MARS in Cancer, and VESTA in Scorpio.
VENUS retrograde in Aries.
NEPTUNE, NORTH NODE, SUN, SATURN in conjunction in latter degrees of Pisces.
NEPTUNE at 29° Pisces, soon to exit for the rest of our lives.
Total LUNAR ECLIPSE on the Virgo/Pisces axis
Now the continuation of a very busy and significant month:
3/15 - MERCURY stations retrograde in Aries, until 4/7. Our dynamic communications and ideas planet has been in the youthful, rejuvenating sign of Aries for 12 days. Now the retrograde cycle is going to encourage us to tamp down any over enthusiastic tendencies that might have begun. Examine any new ideas and projects again to, perhaps, iron out rough edges. VENUS is now in a tight 2° conjunction and will be urging us to measure new ideas and plans with relationships and our hearts as part of the decision making process. Keep in mind that this time frame has several points, asteroids, and planets beginning a new trip around the Zodiac, and potentially, a new era. Energies that are supported in a significant way are those that move away from judgement, blame, victimhood, and anger, and move toward altruism, love, joy, acceptance, and grace.
Since MERCURY is our communications planet, a personal planet, and is going to move back into a more direct conjunction with the cluster of planets surrounding NEPTUNE, it will be a good practice to let this combination open your mind to possibility and imagination. What has previously seemed out of reach may very well present itself once again for consideration and manifestation.
3/19 - Asteroid JUNO begins retrograde at 1° Sagittarius. This retrograde will continue until 7/14. She just moved into the sign of the Centaur on 2/20/25, so this is a brief visit until 4/13 when she returns back to Scorpio.
JUNO holds space for relationships, specifically honor and devotion - even in the face of betrayal. At this time in Sagittarius she will be encouraging inspired growth, intense evaluation of relationships and freedom within them, and shared wisdom. There will be a 3 month return to Sagittarius later this Autumn to continue this energy.
3/18 and 3/19 - The SUN is at a direct conjunction with NEPTUNE at 29° Pisces. This is the last laser beam of intense focused energy from this cycle's solar trip around the Zodiac. NEPTUNE will connect directly with our SUN, which in turn is directly connected to the Great Central Sun. This will potentially be information of a profound nature that is designed to take you to another level of soul growth. Try to be alert and receptive to anything that may come into your awareness now, whether it be a shout, or a whisper.
3/20 - The SUN crosses the Aries Point today, giving us a fresh start to the new astrological cycle. This year seems different, more elevated, than a normal year because of the power of so many conjunctions in the last degrees of Pisces - one of 2025's defining features. Welcome Spring!
William Hewitt's, ”Astrology for Beginners,” 1991, states the following for ARIES Sun sign:

Youthful enthusiasm is a hallmark of this first Fire sign. Concentration on individual identity is strong. The Ram is the symbol. It has been associated with: strength, power, aggression, protection, fertility, rebirth, and impatience. It encourages leaders and pioneers. In Greek mythology the Ram possesses the sought after Golden Fleece. The horn is the horn of plenty - the Cornucopia. The horns are those of the mountain sheep, who rams his head into enemies.
I will repeat what I wrote last year, because I think it is even wiser now to expand on this symbolism to include other qualities the mountain sheep possesses. This is especially true in light of all the sign changes the outer planets are making in a very short period of time:
“The traditional symbol for Aries is the Ram, specifically the Mountain Sheep. One of their intrinsic patterns is the ramming of horns that the rams do in the Spring to compete with each other. It is ritualistic, showy, and the ones who seem to care the most are the two rams bashing their heads together! It reminded me of part of the famous quote from Shakespeare's Hamlet talking about, “sound and fury signifying nothing.” Do we want to keep bashing heads together? Keep endlessly competing and fighting? With ourselves and each other? Is there another pattern that might be included now? Yes, I think there is. I've seen it this very week, like a living drama that I mentioned last year.
I discussed the other traits that Mountain Sheep possess. The tremendous agility and ability to maneuver on the narrowest of ledges. I happen to be in Zion National Park this week. There were two sheep close to the road. They are more skittish right now, I think since their young have not been born yet. These two sheep moved away from us, and seemingly effortlessly, climbed 700 feet up a steep, rocky slope in less than 5 minutes! (It would have taken you and I an hour.) They got themselves to a safer distance with a better vantage point. Their balance was impeccable. They were resourceful with their innate talents. We can do that too.”
That resourcefulness is very appropriate now. The individual working for self - “each according to their gifts,” and emanating those gifts out to the collective can become very important moving forward. ARIES can be the launch site where we each develop to our fullest potential while emanating those qualities to the collective of all beings. The mountain sheep's rapid ascent to a safe place can also symbolize our ability to observe from a safe space - our Heart Space.
3/21 - Asteroid VESTA begins her retrograde motion in Scorpio, until 6/14. She will remain in Scorpio the entire interval. She will be there for a long 8+ months, until 9/12.
VESTA is representative of the Sacred Flame. Her placement in the birth chart indicates the location of the sacred for each individual. In Scorpio her flame is passionate. When she is retrograde, deeply hidden truths and/or desires may emerge. Relationships of all kinds, transformation, and sexual incompatibilities, may emerge during this time. May something in your relationships need adjustment? While Scorpio is associated with sexual relationships, this may include more than just intimate connections.
But above all else, VESTA will ask you,” What has value? What is sacred?”
That is an incredibly valuable question. Allow your soul to guide you to your best answer.
ASTROLOGY FORECAST
(Mar 23 - 31)
3/24 - 3/29 - I want to draw your attention to some very spectacular aspect combinations that will be in effect the last week of March, and some of them even longer than that. They are a series of harmonious aspects that involve all of the planets and a few dominant asteroids. They are harmonious, with almost no discordant energies present.
The formations are:
2 Kites
2 Grand Trines
3 Minor Trines
2 Crossed Trines
The entire sphere of the sky is forming beautiful geometry and singing lovely harmonies. The ringing of the spheres is orchestrating life changing music for all with ears to hear.
Grand Trines point to special talents and accomplished abilities that may be developed further.
Minor Trines are referred to as talent triangles.
Kites contain mostly Trines and Sexiles. There is one opposition that allows the opportunity to relieve tension between the planet at the tail and the apex planet at the top. Perfect balance between the opposition is sought.
Combined with the Pisces conjunctions and the Eclipse season this is the equivalent to a spiritual catapult! There is one important thing to remember. You do not need to complete anything immediately. The effects from any eclipse last for years to come. Beginning something new can be enough. Relax into this process. Ease and flow, without striving will likely create the best results.
I have read some astrological information that says a Kite can only form between planets. Respectfully, I think differently. A powerful asteroid that holds space for amazing energy is just as capable of “moving mountains” as any other aspect of Divinity.
In this case, VESTA is at the tail of one of the Kites in opposition to URANUS. Vesta is the sacred flame that can influence the sudden, explosive developments of Uranus toward the best possible results.
The other Kite finds asteroid ANGEL at the tail, opposite the 6 way conjunction at the apex in late Pisces between Sappho, Saturn, North Node, Venus, Neptune, and Mercury. I have begun to pay much more attention to asteroid ANGEL. This is a force that guides you all your life, similar to a Power Animal. I think this placement will be auspicious. This Kite is in effect from 3/24 - 4/8.
3/27 - VENUS' retrograde moves her back into Pisces. This places Venus back into the sign where she is exalted. By now I think you know the lovely combination made by these two energies. Venus lends particular beauty to magical, imaginative Pisces. While retrograde Venus may help you sort the wheat from the chaff of your mysterious dreams and aspirations. She gives us another chance to make good decisions about our soul development going forward.
3/29 - The MERCURY retrograde takes him back into Pisces. This is a confusing placement for mental Mercury. Pisces is much more emotional and at this time, with so many planets in conjunction, it may be very wise to give Mercury an opportunity to sort things out for a few weeks. Take your time making decisions and articulating ideas.
3/29 - The 2nd eclipse of the year is a Partial NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE in Aries at 6:58 am EST. This is the final eclipse on the ARIES/LIBRA axis. We will see a partial eclipse in the northeast of the USA.
This axis has been asking us to find balance between the needs, goals, and talents of the individual (Aries), and the broader altruistic justice sought by Libra.
The fact that this eclipse season has been accompanied by so many significant conjunctions in Pisces- at what indicates the end of some very important cycles - makes these two March eclipses even more notable.
These are aspirations we all have in common; to feel safe, to have good health, to experience abundance, to love, to feel appreciation, and to feel joy. The new Aquarian Age asks us, “Are these attributes attainable for everyone, or just a privileged few?”
Are our hearts big enough to wish for everyone's dreams to come true? Can our minds imagine that it is possible, and that everyone deserves this grace?
Perhaps you will remember the extremely high percentage of feminine energies I discussed a few weeks ago? The incredibly high percentage of asteroids and planets carrying feminine energy in zodiac signs of the same quality, will continue to ask us, as does this eclipse season, “Have you tired of the struggle of extreme polarity? Can you allow yourselves to relax away from striving, scratching, and scrambling? If yes, are you able to surrender to something softer and, perhaps, wiser? Can you allow and RECEIVE all of this new Cosmic energy?
These are among the questions we are each deciding for ourselves at this auspicious time. May love guide us all.
3/30 - We arrive at one of the year's potent celestial events. NEPTUNE bids farewell to Pisces and moves across the Aries Point.
This ends a cycle of the zodiac that lasted 168 years. That is one rotation of the solar orbit for NEPTUNE. This is truly the end of a significant age for us. Many cosmic questions will be asked of us. NEPTUNE holds the door ajar for countless improvements if we will allow and receive them. Dreams, mysteries, and magic are all offered to the collective. Innovations are waiting in the wings, ready to emerge, if humanity will refrain from weaponizing them. Inventions and technologies that will greatly improve humanity's footprint on Earth and improve the quality of our lives await our answer.
Perhaps the answer will come as a whisper, rather than a shout, as has been our habit. I am thinking of a few lines from the movie, “The Interpreter.”
“The quality of a whisper is different than other sounds. It can be heard above armies, especially when it is telling the truth.”
